Round 2 has begun! We decided to go with 18 contestants since it was a matter of 20 votes between 16th and 18th places. It just didn't seem fair to eliminate 2 contestants over so few votes.
The field has been broken down into two qualifyling shows, with 9 contestants opening for each qualifying round. Only 2 contestants from each show will advance to the final, Big K.R.I.T. on May 20th at Skully's. Contestants will advanced based on 1/4th voting, 1/4th ticket sales and support, and 1/2 stage performance judged by industry reps. Each contestant will have 7 mins of stage time to perform at their best set and showcase their skills behind the mic.
The finalists will be announced on May 1st. Voting will continue until then. Stay tuned!.
